Florida’s southwest coast will see sun and a few showers on Wednesday. The day features plenty of sun to start, with some clouds and showers developing in the afternoon. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 90s.
Friday will bring clouds, passing showers, and periods of storms. Friday’s highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.
The upper level low moves out late on Friday, but moisture will linger on Saturday and Sunday. Both weekend days feature some sun but passing showers and storms as well. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 80s.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Ophelia continues to move slowly in the central Atlantic. At 5 am Wednesday, Ophelia was located near 30.2 North, 37.0 West, and was moving southeast at 6 miles per hour.
