featuresFlorida’s southwest coast starts Thursday with fog, but we’ll have a much nicer finish. After dense fog in most locations Thursday morning, the day features lots of sun and a few clouds, with just a stray shower in spots. Highs on Thursday will be near 80 degrees.

 

featuresShowers are in the forecast for Friday as a front approaches, but we’ll also see a mix of sun and clouds at times. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s.

Look for an early shower on Saturday, followed by lots of sun and a few clouds as cooler air moves in. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 70s.

Sunday will be a sunny but cool day. Sunday’s highs will top out in the upper 60s.

We’ll see lots of sun and blue skies on Martin Luther King Day. Highs on Monday will be near 70 degrees.

She holds a PhD in history when her experience with Hurricane Andrew ultimately led her to earn a degree in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. Donna spent 15 years at WFOR-TV (CBS4 in Miami-Fort Lauderdale), where she worked as a weather producer with hurricane experts Bryan Norcross and David Bernard.
